ERC - 2013 | Round 8 - Barum Rally, Zlin [Czech Republic]

Highlights of the rally - three cars of factory ŠKODA team compete for victory in home rally in the Czech Republic , with few more privateer Skoda. In the history of Rally series, European Rally Championship is one major and popular series, which dates back to early 1950's, when the sport was still evolving. With the merger of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge series into the series which has rich history, the glamour of the former series makes it a real treat for everyone involved, actively or passively. FIA brought in the change with the merger to get the costs under control and keep the integrity of the sport as well as to reduce the confusion among both different, yet which were sharing the geographical & competition in each of them. ERC - 2013 | Round 4 - Sata Rallye Acores, Portugal

The weekend was all set to stage the Sata Rallye Acores , the fourth rally of the ERC calendar. The rally started with dense clouds lingering around the island, and it was raining with some fog. With celebrities and young stars like Robert Kubica, Jan Kopecky, Craig Breen , [and more] in the entry list, the weekend was set to be packed with full of exciting stage action. Rally was hosted at the picturesque city of Lagoa municipality on the southwest-central part of São Miguel Island, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean . Rally HQ was established on Monday the 21st Apr-2013, with the recce spread for 2 days, ie., yesterday and today. The documentation was established and concluded by Wednesday noon, along with the pre-event scrutineering.
